As part of a set of three, the 'blue' work is set to the gold frame and light-blue matting, and follows the pattern of the three--works predicated by a frame, rather than the opposite.

The works are presented on a nine-inch square, each quartered and instilled with the signature black 'squirt.'The forms follow a generalised pattern around the incidental shapes of the 'squirt,' each also dependent on the portion of the 'quartering' it falls 'within.'
